Job summary

Boardroom Appointments in Cape Town is seeking an experienced mobile developer with 3–4 years of coding experience in iOS native (Swift/Objective-C) and knowledge of React Native & Flutter. The role requires RESTful services, version control (Git/GitLab), and automation for iOS deployments.

You will collaborate with product teams, implement secure code, conduct reviews, write tests, manage sources and branches, and contribute to sprint planning and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years coding experience in iOS native (Swift/Objective-C).
• Knowledge of RESTful web services.
• Atlassian Suite experience (JIRA, Bitbucket), Git, GitLab.
• Experience building automated deployment pipelines for iOS deployments.
• Knowledge of third-party libraries and APIs.
• Familiarity with mobile architectures, trends and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship features.
• Knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium and Appium.

Responsibilities

• Guide and implement software and product design.
• Produce code in line with project requirements.
• Implement and maintain appropriate security standards.
• Perform and request code reviews.
• Write and maintain unit and functional tests.
• Reproducing and locate source of reported bugs and issues.
• Fix bugs and issues.
• Communicate errors and solutions to product owners/QA.
• Manage source code and versioning.
• Manage branching and pull requests.
• Provide accurate estimates for new work and assessment for work complete.
• Manage project tasks in line with project workflow.
• Identify developmental needs and motivate for additional training.
