Westfalia Fruit (PTY) LTD Shared Services Africa Midrand, has a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced: Invoice Clerk (FTC 7 Months)

Purpose of the role: To support the Credit Control Supervisor in ensuring accurate and timely invoices, payment allocation, and effective debt collection within Westfalia Shared Services.

The role contributes to a high-performing team by providing proactive administrative and financial support, maintaining accurate records, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Generate accurate invoices and ensure timeous distribution to customers.
  2. Allocate payments and process journals for customer accounts.
  3. Prepare and report on weekly ageing, cash flow, and overdue accounts.
  4. Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve customer queries promptly.
  5. Maintain up-to-date client records and ensure data accuracy.
  6. Capture daily payments using Microsoft Dynamics D.
  7. Audit and reconcile customer accounts when necessary.
  8. Collaborate with other finance team members including Accountants.
  9. Provide support to the team during peak periods or as needed.
  10. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal processes.

Qualification:

  1. Matric (Grade 12)
  2. Bookkeeping certificate or equivalent qualification (advantageous)

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in a Bookkeeping or Credit Control environment.
  2. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics D.
  3. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  4. Experience in the fresh or processed fruit production/marketing industry is advantageous.
