Job description

Purpose of the position

Providing back-office administrative sales functions for an international company.

Key Tasks

  1. Data entry of quotes in client online systems & internal ERP.
  2. Review of supplier proposals including control units and conformity to client requirements.
  3. Verification of the currency to be used.
  4. Application of the tariffs selected.
  5. Transmission of quotes to the account manager.
  6. Uploading to relevant systems for submission on approval.
  7. Close communication with the Commercial Manager of relevant proposals on anomalies & applications.
  8. Validation of client orders on receipt.
  9. Processing of orders to invoicing for suppliers & clients alike on ERP.

Skills & Competencies

  1. Knowledge of international trade techniques.
  2. Language: Fluent English, French advantageous.
  3. IT competencies: Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, ERP system.
  4. Ability to work independently and meticulous attention to detail.
  5. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  6. Organized, reactive, thorough, and adaptable.
  7. Excellent communication skills, interpretation, and capacity for initiative.
  8. Looking to grow within an international group of companies.

Educational Background/Work Experience

International trade. Experience in Shipchandling would be a plus.
