Job summary

Standard Bank Group is seeking a seasoned Manager Research professional to deliver rigorous evaluations and well-supported ratings guiding portfolio decisions. You will coordinate DDQs, arrange meetings with investment managers, and analyze responses to provide actionable insights to the Manager Research Committee.

The role requires 5–7 years in investment or manager research, a First Degree, and a strong data-driven approach to evaluating investment strategies.

Qualifications

• First Degree in Finance and Accounting or related fields.
• 5–7 years of experience in investment research or manager research.
• Strong ability to quantify data and present insights clearly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manager research activities and perform due diligence.
• Analyze responses and discussions, then present insights to the Committee.
• Arrange and facilitate meetings with investment managers.
• Produce high-quality research outputs to support portfolio decisions.
