Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the operations team covering investment operations, client reporting, fee collection, and supplier management.


• Design and implement robust operational processes, controls, and workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.


• Oversee the trade lifecycle and settlement for equities, fixed income, derivatives (OTC & listed), FX, cash, and money market instruments.


• Manage new product implementation and ongoing governance across CIS, UCITS, hedge funds, PCCs, and segregated mandates.


• Maintain regulatory compliance and operational risk management in line with CISCA, the Financial Markets Act, Pension Fund Act, and FAIS.


• Drive people development, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Honours Degree in Finance, Investments, or a related field.


• Minimum 6 years experience in asset management operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.


• Deep understanding of investment products, operational processes, and regulatory frameworks.


• In-depth knowledge of trade lifecycle and settlement processes for equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, cash, and money market products.
