Role Purpose
The Distribution Support Administrator (DSA) provides quick and accurate administrative support to IFAs, IFA practice staff, and consultants.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Office administration qualification or business-related (Degree/NQF 7)
Experience:
- 1-2 years experience in financial services (essential)
- Insurance industry experience (preferred)
- Experience within the MDS Sales environment will be an advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities
Internal processes: Sales and Service Experience
- Understanding end-to-end processes for various product lines.
- Identify and address processes that do not support business efficiency and ease of operation.
- Understand compliance process adherence and impact of non-adherence.
- Present quotes and supporting documents professionally to uphold an 'advice-led' approach.
- Handle new business process end-to-end with minimal revisions.
- Process application forms and engage with Financial Advisors/Practice staff promptly.
- Engage with practice staff to ensure smooth processing, conveying requirements clearly.
- Keep all cases and applications correctly recorded and up to date.
- Log activities and engage with systems to view progress.
- Manage pipeline effectively to drive submissions and case issuance.
- Engage regularly with Business Consultants and prepare reports for updates.
- Support consultants in marketing calls and training on digital tools.
- Serve as primary contact for online navigation inquiries.
- Support other branches nationally when needed.
- Identify and report system/process failures for improvements.
- Escalate faults and issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain a positive, proactive attitude in service escalations.
- Ensure high-quality processing and resilience in follow-ups.
Client Advisor: Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct professional internal and external engagements.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Provide authoritative expertise to clients and stakeholders.

- Recommend improvements for client service and fair treatment.
- Support online capability training for MDS, IFA, and practice staff.
