The Legal Advisor will apply professional judgment to provide legal advice and opinions on legal aspects related to products, services, solution development, and deal structuring for treasury, trade, and investment banking transactions. This includes ongoing research into relevant laws, industry best practices, and regulatory frameworks impacting transaction viability.

The role involves providing legal guidance on moderate to complex legal matters with financial implications and managing associated legal risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement legal processes for asset finance, acquisition finance, escrow, supply chain finance, warehouse finance, receivables finance, and structured trade finance transactions.
• Advise on legal aspects of transactions and conduct research on applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide specialized legal support related to client transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements.
• Liaise with external attorneys for documentation and negotiations.
• Offer legal advice on operational aspects of product offerings, including investment parameters and fund services.
• Ensure compliance with legal and internal policies.
• Draft and review legal agreements.
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external legal providers.
• Stay updated on legal, regulatory, and industry developments.
• Identify and mitigate legal, reputational, and operational risks.
• Support corporate governance, compliance, and ethics initiatives.
