The applicants for this recruitment drive will be reviewed on a rolling basis for consideration for immediate openings as well as positions that will become available over the next five months in the above-mentioned locations and one of the Industry Groups.

Our Investment Analyst roles are located across the Latin America and the Caribbean region, with a presence in Bogotá, Mexico City, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Panama City, Lima, Santiago, and Kingston.

The selection process includes CV screening, online assessment, and interviews.

Successful candidates will join IFC as an Investment Analyst on a three-year term contract extendable to a maximum of five years.

Duties and Accountabilities:

1. Executing rigorous analysis including comprehensive due diligence and financial modeling.
2. Analyze financial statements and projections, build financial models, and run sensitivities.
3. Ensuring the highest standards of portfolio data accuracy and preparing monitoring reports.
4. Prepare analytical sections of country and sector strategies and client pitchbook.
5. Assisting in the design of sector and country strategies; crafting client presentations.
6. Prepare sector mapping to target potential clients and business opportunities.
7. Pinpointing business prospects via sector exploration and reaching out to promising clients.
8. Engaging with internal teams and clients on data inquiries, document scrutiny, and financial statement evaluations.
9. Crafting essential documents for our investment/advisory boards, upholding IFC's stringent guidelines.

Selection Criteria:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in domains like business, finance, or economics or pertinent industry areas.
2. At least 2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, project finance, financial consulting, etc.
3. Ability to conduct market and industry research and analysis.
4. Mastery of financial statement analysis and financial models.
5. Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, thoughtful scenario analysis, and diligence in the quality of one's own work.
6. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
7. Genuine dedication to development and to the World Bank Group and IFC's mission, strategy, and values.
