Now Hiring: Investment Analyst – Reporting

Location: Rosebank, Gauteng

Full-Time | Reporting to: Head of Quantitative Research

A dynamic opportunity has opened up for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Investment Analyst – Reporting to join a high-performing team within a leading financial services environment. If you thrive in data-driven settings and enjoy transforming complex investment information into insightful reports, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage performance, risk, and compliance reporting for clients.
  • Design and automate investment reporting processes.
  • Capture and analyse performance data across internal systems.
  • Produce client performance reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Prepare Regulation 28 and Annexure B compliance reports.
  • Provide timely market summaries and economic data to clients.
  • Collaborate on software development for improved analytical tools.
  • Support quantitative analysis and provide insights to investment teams.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients from a reporting perspective.
  • Ensure accuracy through quality assurance checks.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Investments, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • CFA qualification or currently studying towards it preferred.
  • 2–5 years' experience in investment performance, risk measurement, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros/VBA an advantage).
  • Familiarity with investment accounting and analytics platforms.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the investment or pension fund industry.
  • Exposure to Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, or Style Analytics.
  • Strong interest in financial markets, policy, and economic trends.
