Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a sharp Investment Analyst to join its Vereeniging-based investment division. You will conduct research on equities, fixed income and other instruments, build models, assess risks and generate data-driven recommendations for portfolio decisions.

The role requires a Finance/Economics/Mathematics background, at least 3 years in investment analysis, and strong modeling skills. The position operates on a hybrid schedule in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related quantitative field.
• CFA designation or progress towards it is a strong plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, or a related role in the financial services sector.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficient with financial databases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of equities, fixed income, and other investment instruments.
