Job description

Johannesburg, we have another excellent opportunity within the Courier space for all the Sales Executives! Our client is well known in the Domestic Courier industry, and currently looking for a vibrant, dynamic and sales driven New Business Sales Executive to join their team in Johannesburg to service all of Johannesburg, Gauteng and Pretoria.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for securing new clients within the corporate space
  2. Ability to prospect effectively in order to secure appointments with qualified leads
  3. Manage pipeline to ensure conversion rate is applied and revenue generated to reach targets
  4. Plan & execute approaches & pitches to clients
  5. Handle & overcome client objections
  6. Comfortable with presenting to clients
  7. Master and understand market trends and seasonality in the market
  8. Proven success in your sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process
  9. Meet and exceed targets set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department
  10. Convert new relationships into repeat business
  11. Negotiate with the clients and prospective clients as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits
  12. Be able to execute negotiations through prospecting, cold calling, quantifying and closing deals
  13. Ability to converse with all levels of a client (Strategic, Tactical & Operational)
  14. Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner
  15. You will develop and lead both short and long term strategies
  16. Promote the services and products
  17. Implement new clients successfully, adhering to SOP, SLA, KPI and RFQ requirements
  18. High administrative capability
  19. Record and report on customer details / sales visits
  20. Ensure weekly / monthly reports are up to date and submitted on time as required by business

Requirements:

  1. Matric
  2. Own Vehicle and Valid Driver's Licence
  3. Min 3 years sales experience in the Courier industry specialising in domestic and international courier transportation
  4. A solid Sales Track Record will be required
