Job description

A financial advisory boutique specializing in renewable energies and the energy transition, with over 10 years of sector experience and 10 global offices across different markets.

They advise clients on strategic projects in equity (M&A, venture or growth capital) or debt (project finance, private placements, LBOs) transactions.

The Cape Town office, established 4 years ago, is actively engaged in several projects, covering the sub-Saharan region with support from additional African offices. With ambitious growth plans, the ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial and eager to develop a financial career within a fast-growing company in the renewable energy sector.

In this role, you will report directly to the Southern Africa Managing Partner and collaborate closely with the African team on active advisory mandates across all phases.

You will have the opportunity to support a diverse, multicultural team executing mandates in the Sub-Saharan Africa region, involving transactions in M&A, Project Finance, or Strategic Advisory.

Main Responsibilities include:

1. Perform financial analysis of projects or companies
2. Assist in building financial models (Project Finance or M&A)
3. Conduct due diligence on transactions

Requirements:
