Job summary

Absolute Pets, a leading pet retailer in South Africa with over 200 stores, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor for the Inventory department at our Johannesburg warehouse in Kempton Park. You will manage daily stock counts, variances, and ensure smooth stock flow across locations.

You will lead a team of stock clerks and inventory assistants to meet KPI targets. The role requires coordinating weekly counts, managing stock rotations, supplier returns, and reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management and stock reporting.
• Ability to conduct cycle counts and investigate variances.
• Experience managing a team of stock clerks.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory in the Johannesburg warehouse, including daily stock counts and variance investigations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure stock flow from IBTs to locations and reduce backlogs.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and prepare reports for management.
