Job description

As an Inventory Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our inventory operations.

Your role will include:

  1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of the inventory team.
  2. Ensuring accurate inventory records and conducting regular audits.
  3. Managing inventory levels to meet production and sales demands.
  4. Implementing and maintaining inventory control systems.
  5. Training and mentoring inventory staff.
  6. Collaborating with other departments to optimize inventory processes.

Job Objectives:

  1. Monitor and maintain inventory levels.
  2. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
  3. Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
  4. Train and supervise inventory staff.
  5. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  6. Prepare and present inventory reports to management.

Qualifications:

  1. Essential: Matric (Grade 12)
  2. Desirable: Diploma / degree in Supply Chain

Experience:

  1. Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) as an Inventory Supervisor or similar role.
  2. Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
  3. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  4. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
