Salary: R750,000 - R780,000 per annum (including Medical Aid & Pension)

Duties & Responsibilities

Are you a finance candidate who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and getting involved on the ground? We are looking for a Finance professional with strong inventory costing and planning experience to step into a hands-on Inventory Manager role at a leading manufacturing company.

This role bridges the gap between finance and operations, owning raw materials planning, forecasting, and stock control to ensure smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forecast raw material requirements based on production and sales trends
• Develop and implement accurate inventory control systems
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize inventory levels to reduce excess stock
• Conduct regular physical stock takes and reconcile discrepancies
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams
• Improve inventory turnover ratios and minimize stockholding costs
• Manage stock movements and reporting using ERP systems like Syspro

Qualifications & Experience:

• Finance degree (Accounting or CIMA preferred)
• Minimum 5 years experience in stock accounting, planning, costing, and forecasting
• Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments is essential
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Syspro highly advantageous)
• Analytical mindset with a hands-on approach
• Ability to work well under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
