Staff Solutions in South Africa is seeking an Inventory Manager to lead the Stock Administration team and ensure accurate stock movements, costings, and reporting.

You will oversee processing, reservations, and reconciliations, while driving process improvements and ensuring adherence to procedures. Strong Excel and Syspro experience are essential, with a focus on accuracy and team development.

Qualifications

• Matric is mandatory.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years handling the financials of inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• 3–5 years supervising a team of clerks.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Stock Administration team to achieve departmental targets.
• Monitor team performance and ensure procedures and standards are followed.
• Ensure stock transactions and movements are processed accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate stock costs on Syspro and other relevant systems.
• Process stock journals and assist with processing when required.
• Ensure stock bookings and reservations are processed accurately and on time.
• Check that stock quantities, costs, billing rates and costing information are accurate.
• Review daily and weekly reports before submission to Management.
• Assist with Management Accounts and Internal/External Audits.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies or unusual information in reports.
