Placements24 is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for our East London facility. This hybrid role focuses on maintaining optimal stock levels and accurate data across storage areas.

You will implement inventory management systems, conduct cycle counts, and collaborate with procurement, production and logistics to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control, warehousing, or related supply chain role.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels across all storage areas, ensuring accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and stockouts.
• Process incoming and outgoing stock movements, ensuring accurate data entry into inventory management systems.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely replenishment.
• Generate regular reports on inventory status, turnover rates, and other key performance indicators.
