Inventory And Costing Clerk
Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Complete manufacturing reports accurately and on time.
- Verify finished goods production daily to ensure correct production declarations.
- Ensure raw and packaging materials are properly counted and returned to the warehouse after production.
- Manage and ensure accurate warehouse transfers of materials.
- Review Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure correct accounting for raw and packaging material usage.
- Assist in implementing inventory controls to minimise waste and inefficiencies.
- Work closely with production and finance teams to maintain accurate cost records.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Cost & Management Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in an inventory or costing role, preferably within FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Sage Evolution proficiency (advantageous).
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
