Tyger Valley College invites applications for a Physical Education teacher responsible for grades 8 to 12. The role includes leading the sports programme, budgeting equipment, and coaching across multiple disciplines.

You will liaise with parents and students, organise official league matches and interhouse events, and contribute to a dynamic campus sports culture. A degree/diploma in Sports Management or Teaching PE is required.

Formación

• Minimum requirement is a recognised Degree and/or a diploma in Sports' Management or Teaching Qualification with Physical Education as a subject completed.
• SACE registration would be advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in the same or similar position and environment.
• Ability to coach sports and organise sporting events is essential.

Required: Must be able to teach Physical Education.

Reporting to the Principal.

Duties

• Controlling Sports Programme
• Controlling Sports Events
• Coaching in various Sporting Disciplines.
• Liaising with parents, students, and visitors to the campus.
• Sports Equipment - budgeting and management.
• Sports Coaches - Management.
• Physical Education Teacher - Grade 8 to 12.
• Organisation of sporting events - Official League Matches and Interhouse and Internal Events.

Competencies / Skills / Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, student and parents.
• Energetic, self-motivated, and able to use own initiative
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Must be a team player.
• First Aid Training would be required.
• Willingness to accompany teams to sporting fixtures.
• Skilled in Coaching and Refereeing/Umpiring.

Qualifications
