Job description

Key Performance Areas;

Operational Duties :

• Update systems with blank container numbers for loads, especially cold treatment containers.
• Update blank GEO numbers for loads.
• Check and report on the TempCheck tick list to ensure bookings are indicated in QX.
• Update missing Client Temperature Acceptance Reports indicating temp codes in QX but not set up in BELS / Sensi with parameters.
• Analyse TempTale Temperature Alerts and take relevant actions.
• Analyse port monitoring reports and perform sanity checks.
• Import and analyse PPECB Monitoring data.
• Send out Arrived at FD Notifications, with and without attachments.
• Analyse and send manual TempCheck email notifications to clients with accurate and complete information.
• Assist with all dispute resolutions internally and externally.
• Retrieve temperature download data from supplier websites.
• Send Email Alert Notifications to customers.
• Assist with PO files and Transporter mails to update internal systems.
• Attend to weekend duties for all operations.

Stock Management :

• Assist with distribution of all TempTales to transporters, cold stores, update stock sheets, and schedule future GEOs where necessary.
• Assist with reconciling delivery notes.
• Assist with acknowledgment letters.
• Assist with reconciliation and reporting of physical stocks at various locations.

Requirements :

• Diploma in Shipping, Clearing and Freight Forwarding, Distribution and Logistics Business Management, or related field (preferable).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Freight Forwarding and Logistics as a Stock Controller (export-related).
• Strong persuasive, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent MS Office skills.
• Willing to work additional hours as required.
• Problem-solving skills.
