Intermediate SQL Developer Initial 1 year contract

A client that developed a software solutions package (administration and accounting) tailored specifically for the retirement fund industry is looking for an Intermediate SQL Developer to join their team on an initial 1-year contract (with the possibility of going permanent thereafter).

Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications :

• BSc Actuarial Science or BSc IT

Requirements :

• Minimum 6 years experience in SQL development
• Microsoft TSQL experience
• Proficient in coding stored procedures
• Understanding of indexing fundamentals
• Database administration skills
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, and investments is required

Key Performance Areas (KPAs) :

• Identify drawbacks and implement improvements
• Consult with client teams
• Test procedures
• Analyze stored procedure performance
• Interpret execution plans
