This is a permanent, full-time position based out of our Spacial South Africa (PTY) Ltd offices in Pretoria East.

What you will do

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable software developer to join our dynamic team. You will contribute to the development of cutting-edge web solutions, such as Media Players, Media Portals, and Web Applications. These platforms are widely used, ranging from major corporate clients to everyday users worldwide.
Our solutions are built to be highly available, scalable, and deliver exceptional user experiences, supporting over a billion unique content deliveries each month. While our core technologies include modern frameworks and programming languages like .NET and Java, we value developers with a passion for learning and staying ahead of technology trends.

You are an excellent candidate if you:

1. Have a relevant IT Degree or Diploma and experience
2. Have solid work experience in developing C# applications in both the .NET Framework and .NET Core
3. Are a fast learner, highly skilled and motivated
4. Have a good sense of analysis and are effective at communicating your ideas
5. Have work experience with Java
6. Have experience with ORM, Authentication and Authorization
7. CI/CD experience
8. You have experience with testing frameworks (unit, end-to-end, BDD, integration, etc.)

Bonus Technical Skills and Expertise

1. Any of the following would be great to have:
2. Advanced knowledge of Javascript frameworks, and mastery of HTML/CSS
3. Single-Page and Multi-Page Web App Development using React, Angular, or Vue.js
4. Cloud-based infrastructure experience like Azure Cloud Services or similar
5. Experience creating and running Docker containers
