Job description

Intermediate Phase Teacher – January 2026

APPS is an independent girls’ preparatory school, from Grade 0 to 7, known for its innovative approach to education. While innovation is central, tradition remains crucial for our 104-year-old school.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Intermediate Phase (IP) teacher to join our team from Term 1, 2026. The ideal candidate should have a relevant university degree or professional teaching qualification and be registered with SACE.

Key qualities and skills we seek include:

  • A strong understanding of the CAPS curriculum and the ability to teach a broad range of academic subjects; proficiency in teaching Mathematics is an advantage;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Self-motivation, organization, and a collaborative work style;
  • Experience in and commitment to pastoral care;
  • A holistic approach to education and active contribution to school life.
