The primary objective of this role is to conceptualize design and resolve Point of Purchase (POP) solutions in line with client specifications ensuring all briefs from account executives are met. The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for maintaining high design quality adhering to established design standards and specifications within the Symmetry workflow environment.
The role requires combining creative artistic talent with POP principles and an understanding of customer needs, marketing materials, and production methods. The goal is to create visually appealing design solutions that are competitive in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and produce design materials for various POP products.
- Compile presentations using a comprehensive understanding of graphic design, 3D design, and video processes.
- Take briefs and revisions, brainstorm, inquire, consult, and conduct research.
- Create rough sketches and ideate on design concepts.
- Translate ideas into viable design software ensuring structural soundness for application.
- Integrate a wide range of manufacturing processes and technologies into design.
- Communicate and review designs with Account Executives (AEs) and Creative / Art Directors.
- Maintain proper filing systems for design files and ensure accessibility for queries or suggestions.
- Perform quality checks on prototypes before presentations or production.
- Design layout and prepare files for repro using software such as Creative Suite, 3D Applications, Microsoft Office, and Keynote.
- Discuss design requirements with Creative / Art Directors and make necessary adjustments.
- Contribute innovative out-of-the-box creative solutions to client presentations.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Design execution based on briefs and instructions (verbal or written).
- Ability to manage deadlines and maintain high-quality design within budget constraints.
- Effective collaboration with structural designers, AEs, and Creative / Art Directors.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in technical skills (software knowledge, practical design skills) and efficiency.
- Adherence to Symmetry and graphic design processes and procedures.
- Productivity including time management and minimizing wastage.

Qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification in graphic design, art, or relevant industry experience.
- Experience in 3D multimedia and POP is advantageous.
- 4-6 years of experience in graphic design with a focus on POP and 3D design.
