Intermediate Developer

A leading Payment Aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions is looking for an Intermediate Developer to join their growing team in Stellenbosch.

This will be a hybrid role. Responsibilities will include:

1. Technical integration of new clients into systems
2. Development testing
3. Fixes & maintenance on current system
4. Enhancements of current functionality
5. New functionality design & development
6. Query resolution (3rd line support)
7. System Security & Audits
8. Improve development techniques and processes

Required Technical Skills and Experience:

1. Tertiary or equivalent training in software development, computer science or engineering
2. 3-5 years relevant development experience
3. Java, both Standard and Enterprise Editions, Spring Boot
4. SQL (MS SQL Server / Postgres)
5. Development workflow: Eclipse / Netbeans IDEs, Maven, GIT
6. Working in a continuous integration and testing environment
7. OpenAPI protocols

Advantageous Technical Skills and Experience:

1. Exposure to financial transaction processing systems and multi-threaded, high volume real-time systems
2. Postilion development skills (source / sink node development)
3. Exposure and participation in Agile methods like Scrum / Kanban
4. Experience in front-end development using the Angular framework
