Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Intermediate Data Capturer to support our data operations. The ideal candidate will have strong typing accuracy, data management skills, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining data integrity. You will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and verifying data into internal systems while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capture, update, and maintain accurate data from various sources into internal systems and databases.

  • Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.

  • Assist in data clean-up, validation, and reconciliation projects as needed.

  • Work collaboratively with team members and departments to resolve data discrepancies.

  • Perform regular quality checks and ensure compliance with data entry protocols.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to company data policies.

  • Generate basic reports or summaries based on captured data when required.

  • Meet daily and weekly data entry productivity targets.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Education:

    • Matric / Grade 12 minimum

    • A relevant certificate or diploma in Office Administration, IT, or Business would be advantageous

  • Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience in a data entry or data administration role

    • Experience working with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and databases (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Salesforce, SAP)

Skills & Competencies
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Fast and accurate typing skills

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Attributes
  • Familiarity with data protection regulations (e.g., POPIA, GDPR)

  • Previous experience in sectors such as finance, healthcare, or retail is a plus
