Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Build and change WPF screens in C# and XAML for insurance applications.
- Structure UI code with MVVM: views, view models, and commands.
- Build and change ASP.NET application or API code that the client uses.
- Write and change T-SQL against Microsoft SQL Server.
- Fix defects in the WPF client, the ASP.NET layer, and T-SQL.
- Apply insurance-sector knowledge to the features being built.
Experience

Qualifications
A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field.
Required skills
- C#: C# as the application language.
- WPF: WPF as the desktop UI framework, with enough experience to build and change screens rather than only follow a sample.
- XAML: for layout, styles, templates, resources, and data binding.
- MVVM: separation of view and view model, INotifyPropertyChanged, and ICommand.
- WPF data binding: including diagnosing a binding that does not update.
- ASP.NET: ASP.NET used to build or extend a web application or Web API.
- Request and response handling between the WPF client and ASP.NET.
- T-SQL: T-SQL on Microsoft SQL Server: queries, joins, parameters, and stored procedures. Changes to procedures and straightforward schema objects used by the application.
- Insurance: Commercial experience in the insurance sector, on systems used by an insurer, broker, or insurance software provider.
