We are seeking an Intermediate C# Developer to b uild and maintain insurance applications in C#. Thedesktop client is written in WPF and XAML under the MVVM pattern, withsupporting work in ASP.NET and T-SQL.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Build and change WPFscreens in C# and XAML for insurance applications.
- Structure UI code withMVVM: views, view models, and commands.
- Build and change ASP.NETapplication or API code that the client uses.
- Write and change T-SQLagainst Microsoft SQL Server.
- Fix defects in the WPFclient, the ASP.NET layer, and T-SQL.
- Apply insurance-sectorknowledge to the features being built.
Experience:
- Build and change WPFscreens in C# and XAML for insurance applications.
- Structure UI code withMVVM: views, view models, and commands.
- Build and change ASP.NETapplication or API code that the client uses.
- Write and change T-SQLagainst Microsoft SQL Server.

Qualifications:
- A diploma or degree inComputer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a relatedfield.
Required skills:
C# and WPF:
- C# as the applicationlanguage.
- WPF as the desktop UIframework, with enough experience to build and change screens rather than onlyfollow a sample.
- XAML for layout, styles,templates, resources, and data binding.
- MVVM: separation of viewand view model, INotifyPropertyChanged, and ICommand.
- WPF data binding, includingdiagnosing a binding that does not update.
ASP.NET:
- ASP.NET used to build orextend a web application or Web API.
- Request and responsehandling between the WPF client and ASP.NET.
T-SQL:
- T-SQL on Microsoft SQLServer: queries, joins, parameters, and stored procedures.
- Changes to procedures andstraightforward schema objects used by the application.
Insurance:
- Commercial experience inthe insurance sector, on systems used by an insurer, broker, or insurancesoftware provider.
