INTERMEDIATE AND SENIOR PHASE TEACHER TO GRADE 7

The opportunity exists for a suitably qualified individual to teach at our independent, inclusive Preparatory School Campus, amid the beautiful rural area of East Griqualand in the Northern region of the Eastern Cape.

INTERMEDIATE AND SENIOR PHASE TEACHER TO GRADE 7

Experience in teaching Afrikaans (FAL) and having Afrikaans as home language would be advantageous.
General subjects to be teach may include: Afrikaans FAL; Social Sciences; Natural Sciences; Mathematics
Commencement Date: January 2026

Expectations, Qualifications and competencies required:

  • A relevant qualification from a recognised institution – minimum requirement is a Degree and/or a 4-year professional Teaching Qualification;
  • Fully support the ethos of the school as an Anglican Church School and incorporating the school’s values into daily teaching and activities;
  • To be responsible for all duties as required of an academic educator;
  • Computer literate and efficient;
  • An open and creative outlook to education;
  • Passion for children and teaching;
  • Good organisational and administrative skills;
  • Full commitment to extra-mural activities of the school;
  • Applicant should be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    •Experience in an ISASA school will be an advantage;
  • Passionate about critical and creative thinking teaching methodology;
  • Must be committed to maintaining the school’s confidentiality policy;
  • SACE and Police Clearance certification.
