Job summary

Network Contracting is seeking an Interim Finance Manager for a 4–6 month contract, based in South Africa. The role focuses on financial control, FP&A, and data-room preparation for a potential transaction, with involvement across modelling and reporting.

You will influence senior stakeholders and drive key finance initiatives in a lean team. You should be a qualified CA(SA) with about 10 years post-qualification experience, comfortable working independently in an SME, and capable of hands-on

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant – CA(SA) or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Approximately 10 years’ post-qualified experience.
• Hands-on SME experience with ownership of deliverables.
• Experience in Financial Control and FP&A.
• Exposure to private equity-backed environment is advantageous.
• Transaction-readiness experience is beneficial.
• Strong financial modelling and reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Balance Sheet Forecasting Model for planning.
• Enhance Professional Services reporting for visibility into performance.
• Improve financial reporting for the Senior Leadership Team.
• Support day-to-day financial control and FP&A activities.
• Take ownership of finance projects with limited supervision.
• Assist with data rooms and information for a future transaction.
• Provide hands-on support to CFO and Financial Controller as needed.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights for decisions.
