Description

This role involves overseeing reference research and instructional services, ensuring access to print and digital resources, managing interlibrary loans (ILL), and maintaining relationships with external libraries and consortia. Responsibilities include developing procedures, managing requests, monitoring statistics, ensuring legal compliance, and advising on collection development. The position requires collaboration with faculty and staff to optimize resource sharing and collection strategies.

Inherent Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or BTech degree in Library and Information Science (NQF Level 7), or a degree plus Postgraduate diploma (NQF Level 8).
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
• Membership of LIASA (attach 2025 certificate).
