A leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions is looking for an Integration Specialist to support our growing operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring seamless connectivity between systems, enhancing client relationships, and driving operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities

As an Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for IT functions that directly impact client relationships with a primary focus on integrations and technical support. This role does not involve coding or development but requires a strong understanding of technical documentation, solution design, and client consultation. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth integrations and provide ongoing technical support to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support and monitor Biller Integrations ensuring seamless connectivity between systems.
  2. Participate in various IT integration functions and generate ad hoc reports using SQL.
  3. Monitor transaction irregularities across the value chain from Retailer to Biller.
  4. Consult with clients to guide them through integration requirements and processes.
  5. Provide technical support post-integration including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  6. Investigate application logs and conduct test transactions in live environments.
  7. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve integration-related issues.
  8. Perform any other relevant duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Relevant tertiary IT qualification.
  2. Approximately 3 years of experience in a similar role including expertise in SQL, IT systems monitoring, MS Office (especially Excel), and customer support.
  3. Experience in the Financial Services industry with a focus on payments and an understanding of reconciliation and settlement processes (advantageous).
  4. Fluent in written and verbal English with a good understanding of Afrikaans. Additional languages are a plus.
  5. Stable internet connection (fibre preferred) for remote work if required.
  6. Own reliable transport.
