Our client requires the services of a Technology Integrator (Expert) - Midrand / Menlyn / Rosslyn / Home Office rotation.

Duties & Responsibilities
ROLE:
  1. Action and resolve IM (Incident Management) tickets.
  2. Action and resolve CIM (Critical Incident Management) tickets as required.
  3. Raise and lead tasks PM (Problem Management) tickets as identified.
  4. Action and coordinate CM (Change Management) tasks and tickets as required.
  5. Assist user departments in drafting system requirement documentation based on business processes.
  6. Perform daily system handover and start-up tasks to ensure operational readiness of systems.
  7. Ensure that all processes have been investigated / considered in obtaining the specifications of the user requirements.
  8. Propose and review system design and evaluate alternatives.
  9. Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements.
  10. Create, maintain, further develop, and follow User stories and requirements together with the involved infrastructure technologies.
  11. Creation and further development of KPI's and Measurements that are suitable to judge the quality and compliance of the solutions.
  12. Keep documentation up to date in all relevant systems (e.g. as is configuration CMDB / Application Instance Wizard, to be configuration Connect IT, knowledge database resolveIT).
  13. Attend and moderate operation meetings.
Desired Experience & Qualification
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
  1. Formal Degree in Information Systems or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  2. ITIL certification (advantageous).
  3. Any Linux / Ansible / Veritas certification that is relevant.
  4. Any Vormetric / Encryption certification that is relevant.
  5. Minimum 8 years working experience in IT Administration.
  6. Minimum 8 years Linux experience.
  7. Minimum of 6 years of IT operations experience.
  8. Minimum of 6 years of ITIL work experience.
  9. Minimum of 4 years python / perl / bash experience.
  10. Minimum of 4 years encryption tools specific experience (Veritas, Vormetric, Ciphertrust).
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
  1. Deep Knowledge of Linux.
  2. Netbackup.
  3. Agile Methodology: JIRA / Confluence.
  4. Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.
ADVANTAGEOUS TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  1. Deep ITSM knowledge.
  2. Experience in Operations and structure teams.
  3. Functional knowledge.
  4. Understand Processes, deep process knowledge in GROUP processes.
  5. ITIL process knowledge and work experience.
  6. AGILE Project Management knowledge.
  7. Quality Management.
  8. Deep Knowledge of Linux.
  9. Vormetric knowledge.
  10. Netbackup knowledge.
  11. Encryption Knowledge.
  12. Understanding of IT Infrastructure and relations between components.
  13. ITPM process knowledge and work experience (advantageous).
