Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Integrated Work Systems and Maintenance Specialist supports the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the management system. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency by assisting in the alignment of people, processes, and technology.
Key responsibilities include promoting continuous improvement and ensuring adherence to standardized workflows. The Integrated Work Systems and Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Environment.
Key Responsibilities:
System Implementation Support:
- Assist in rolling out IWS methodologies across various departments.
- Ensure compliance with established IWS protocols and guidelines.
Process Analysis and Optimization:
- Review current workflows to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with teams to implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives, identifying and executing projects to boost operational reliability within the facility.
- Aid teams in investigating failures and conducting root cause analysis using methods such as RCFA, Ishikawa diagrams, and the "5 Whys" technique.
- Gather statistics and perform Pareto analyses for equipment failures and scheduled downtimes.
- Take a proactive stance in addressing emerging challenges comprehensively.
- Lead initiatives to optimize costs and improve the availability of machinery, equipment, and technological systems.
Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions to educate staff on IWS principles and best practices.
- Provide continuous support to teams to foster a culture of ongoing improvement.
Performance Monitoring:
- Collect and analyse data to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented systems.
- Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IWS processes.
- Support the Lead in coordinating improvement projects and initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- BTech/BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required
- Lean/Six Sigma certification advantageous
- Over 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record in implementing Integrated Work Systems (IWS)
- Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement practices
- Strong analytical skills to analyse processes and performance metrics
- Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions
- Forward-thinking mindset to anticipate future challenges and opportunities
- Skilled at communicating the value of new systems and processes to stakeholders
- Ability to teach, coach, and develop others
- Familiarity with tools like Fishbone Diagrams, Pareto Analysis, and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Experience in maintenance strategies and systems with a strong focus on breakdown elimination
