Job summary

VKB Group is seeking an Intake Assistant for its milling operations in Mokopane. You will ensure accurate intake of incoming maize, record keeping, and coordination with production, quality, warehouse and logistics teams to support efficient milling.

The role requires attention to detail, adherence to health and safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training in GMP/HACCP will be provided as part of the intake process.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 or NQF Level 3 equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing, milling or agricultural environment is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving incoming maize deliveries.
• Verify supplier documentation, delivery notes, and weighbridge information.
• Capture load weights, moisture readings, and grading information accurately.
• Escalate discrepancies and non-conforming loads to the supervisor.
• Maintain intake records and coordinate with production, quality, warehouse and logistics teams.
• Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards in the intake area.
