The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years in compliance/audit with solid FAIS and FICA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Law, Business, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of compliance, regulatory affairs or audit experience in financial services or insurance.
• Deep knowledge of SA insurance laws (FAIS, FICA) and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's compliance program.
• Monitor changes in insurance regulations and assess impact on business.
• Conduct regular internal audits to ensure adherence to policies.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare compliance reports for management and regulators.
• Provide training and guidance on compliance matters.
• Liaise with external regulatory agencies as required.
