Qualifications
- Degree in actuarial science or related quantitative field.
- Near or full qualification as an actuary (FSA/ASA/FIA or equivalent).
- Proven actuarial experience in insurance pricing, reserving or risk.
- Strong modeling and programming skills in Prophet, R, Python, SQL.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain actuarial models for pricing, reserving and capital management.
- Perform complex calculations related to liabilities and assets.
- Assess financial risks and devise risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with underwriting, product development and finance.
- Support pricing and reserving guidance for new products.
- Ensure regulatory and statutory reporting compliance.
- Analyze experience trends and contribute to forecasting and strategy.
