Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification is required.
• 2-5 years of post-article experience solicited.

• Manage investment platforms and portfolio transfers.

Skills

Strong knowledge of IFRS

Strong knowledge of US GAAP

Experience within investment industries

Our client, a global life insurance group with over $125B in assets under management, is expanding their South African team. They’re looking for an experienced Investment Accountant to join their Investment Accounting & Reporting team.

• Prepare and reconcile investment journal entries

• Produce internal reports, disclosures, and footnotes

• Perform uploads and reconciliations across entities

• Manage investment platforms and portfolio transfers

• Support audits and regulatory submissions

• Liaise with investment managers and improve processes

• CA(SA) qualified

• 2 - 5 years post-article experience

• Experience within investment or insurance industries

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP

• Experience with Clearwater and Oracle is a plus

• Exposure to multi-currency environments
