Dotsure Insurance is seeking an Insurance Accountant to join our on-site finance team in George, Western Cape. You will deliver accurate financial reporting, maintain strong controls and support statutory compliance across our insurance businesses.

You’ll prepare month-end journals and reconciliations, produce management accounts, assist with IFRS-compliant statements, and contribute to audits, VAT, and tax calculations.

Qualifikationen

• BCom accounting degree and SAICA/SAIPA articles completed.
• Experience in financial accounting and month-end reporting.
• Working knowledge of VAT and income tax.
• Sound IFRS understanding and Excel mastery.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems, preferably Acumatica.

Aufgaben

• Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations and financial reports.
• Produce accurate management accounts and financial reporting.
• Assist with IFRS-compliant annual financial statements.
• Support audits and regulatory reporting activities.
• Prepare VAT and income tax calculations and ensure financial controls.
• Manage partner-related financial reporting and settlements.
• Collaborate across finance and operations to improve processes.
