Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to calibrate, test, maintain, repair and commission instrumentation and control equipment used in industrial environments. The role focuses on servicing control valves, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring high-quality performance.

You should have 2–5 years in industrial instrumentation, with knowledge of calibration procedures, control valves, actuators and positioners, and experience with pressure, temperature and flow

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years' experience in industrial instrumentation or process control.
• Strong calibration and testing procedure knowledge.
• Experience with control valves, actuators, and electronic positioners.
• Knowledge of pressure, temperature, flow, and differential pressure measurement equipment.
• Proven fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and instrumentation documentation.
• Attention to detail and quality control standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, and overhaul control valve internals.
• Assemble valve bodies, actuators, and associated control equipment.
• Perform calibration, testing, and fault-finding on electronic valve positioners.
• Conduct hydrostatic testing, seat leakage testing, QC checks.
• Perform circuit and electronic testing on flow measurement equipment.
• Calibrate mass and volumetric flow meters.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot temperature transmitters.
• Perform testing and electronic repairs on temperature transmitter equipment.
• Conduct static pressure testing and calibration of differential pressure transmitters.
• Troubleshoot and repair differential pressure transmitter electronics.
• Service, test, and maintain pressure switches, flow switches, solenoid valves, regulators, limit switches.
• Complete technical reports, calibration certificates, and service documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with company quality and safety standards.
