Job description

JOB TITLE: Instrument Control and Automation Apprentice

JOB LOCATION: Lords View Factory

CLOSING DATE: 02 May 2025

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Matric with Maths & Science
  2. Diploma/N6 in Electrical light current /Instrumentation/Automation (Completed)
  3. 12 Months Internship
  4. Candidates need to provide their Academic Transcript with their CVs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Basic computer literacy, i.e., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  2. Develop Reports and Maintenance Documentation
  3. Review Electrical Drawings and update them
  4. Carry out project work
  5. Assist with R2S Projects
  6. Support breakdown repair (During Week and Weekend)
  7. Support Restoration Activities (During Week and Weekend)
  8. Assist artisans and technicians
  9. Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs), and One Point Lessons (OPLs)
  10. Carry out Calibration as per PPM
  11. Update Network Drawings
  12. Participate in the continuous improvement program, including internal audits, mock audits, project team involvement, WCM initiatives, and site SHE programs
