About the Role

As a Controls & Instrumentation Engineer / Technologist you will assist / support the design, construction monitoring & commissioning of the control and monitoring systems on multiple data centre projects.

Desired Qualifications and Professional Registration

  • BSc/BEng/BTech Controls & Instrumentation/Electronics engineering degree or equivalent
  • Registered as an ECSA candidate engineer / technologist in controls & instrumentation / electronics engineering
  • Minimum years’ experience (1yr = junior; 5yr = medior) in controls & instrumentation consulting engineering
  • Experience in data centre projects is highly advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities

We will entrust and rely on you to:

  • Assist / support the design of the control and monitoring systems within multiple teams of data centre designers.
  • During the design phase, your work will primarily consist of designing data centre control systems, from the basic design to the detailed design, including the coordination of your control system design with other disciplines.
  • During the construction of the data centre, your work will mainly consist of coordinating with clients, main contractors, and control contractors.
  • Experience and expertise with control technology, such as:
  • Understanding the overall MEP design processes in Mission Critical environment
  • Controls systems such as: Schneider/ Allen-Bradley / Siemens / ABB
  • Network diagrams and Telecoms design
  • Revit
  • Revizto
