Dominion Energy Remington Power Station seeks a highly motivated Instrument Technician I, II, or III. There is one position available that will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position will involve reporting responsibilities at both sites, Ladysmith and Remington. This position offers relocation as needed.
Under general supervision, this role performs a full range of inspection, testing, service, repair, calibration, and install indicating, recording, and automatic control instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, thermometers, regulators, and similar components in a power station.
Responsibilities include:
Will proficiently perform assignments having the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience needed to carry out all aspects of the job; exercise independent judgment and decision-making in planning; organize and conduct work assignments; may receive instructions and guidance on unusual or complex problems and knows when to get others involved; effectively utilizes the proper resources to develop solutions and devise new approaches to problems encountered in work assignments; and identifies and eliminates unnecessary work and non-value added activities.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Associate.
