Qualifications

  • 6 ans d'expérience industrielle électrique dans le secteur FMCG requis.
  • Compétences en DCS, calibration et PLCs exigées.
  • Un permis de conduire Code B est requis.

Job description

Employer : Leading Manufacturer (FMCG Food Production/Agricultural Sector)

Salary: 385k pa to 700k pa

Location: Bellville, Western Cape

Shifts: 6am – 6pm and 6pm – 6am (The company is a 24hr Operation)

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • Analyze and interpret trends to resolve complex or chronic process failures, increasing uptime and reducing unplanned downtime.
  • Be the custodian of condition monitoring, ensuring activities are carried out to the highest quality to improve equipment reliability.
  • Maintain responsibility for equipment specifications and engineering standards.
  • Support shutdown planning, execution, and post-mortem activities.
  • Identify, motivate, and implement improvement initiatives and capex projects.
  • Collaborate with Electrical Coordinator, Section Engineers, and Process Engineers in project design and execution in the mill.

Optimise Plant and Equipment Availability

  • Lead spares criticality assessments and CMMS updates.
  • Ensure spare parts are stored cleanly and safely.

Provide Technical Support

  • Participate in HAZOP studies.
  • Respond to callouts and perform standby duties.
  • Support technicians and engineers with plant issues.
  • Manage in-house projects for cost, time, and quality.
