Who we are looking for?

We’re looking for an experienced and creative Instructional Designer / E-learning Designer to join our team on a freelance contract basis. You'll be responsible for designing and developing engaging, accessible e-learning content tailored for frontline workers in the health, safety and environment (HSE) sector. This includes implementing translations and voiceovers provided by the team, ensuring high-quality learning experiences that are easy to understand and use.

Location: Ideally based in Cape Town

Salary range: To be discussed

Line manager: Head of design

Requirements :

• Minimum 2 years' experience in instructional design and e-learning development
• Proficient in articulate storyline and Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of visual layout, hierarchy and typography
• Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality work remotely
• Strong project management
• Growth mindset, willingness, and ability to play leadership and support roles with equal enthusiasm.
• Not being afraid of getting close to highly technical content
• Ability to take initiative
