Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quality control tests, ensuring that raw materials, in-process components, and finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product integrity, safety, and compliance across the production process.

Duties and Responsibilities
Quality
  • Testing of raw materials (sand, paint, polymer, and steel)
  • Verification of Certificates of Analysis of raw materials
  • Verification of paint components
  • Accessory Forming Quality Control Inspections
  • Tile forming Quality Control Inspections
  • Metal pre-treatment testing
  • Monitoring and testing of In-process and Finished Products conformance to specifications and customer requirements
  • Identification and reporting of non-conforming products and raw materials as per works instructions.
  • Defects identification, reporting to relevant parties and recording as per works instructions.
  • Chemical Stock Management
  • Ensure calibration and verification of measuring equipment. Maintain the Calibration Register
  • Raising NCR’s, Deviations and Concessions
  • Ensure SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) and housekeeping compliance.
  • Reports any SHEQ incident / accidents immediately as per the SHE system.
  • Uses / ensures the PPE required for the specific tasks or working conditions are used by subordinates.
  • Performs tasks assigned in the SHEQ system
Operational
  • Comply with work rules, standards, and methods. Take care to minimise waste. Identify and provide feedback on cost saving initiatives within area of control
Stakeholder Relations
  • Provide specialised technical / professional support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives.
  • Build, support and maintain interpersonal and team relationships to ensure stable working environment and achievement of team objectives.
Governance, Compliance and Risk Management
  • Adhere to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies, and procedures. Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
