Job summary
Hire Resolve – Top Recruitment Agency is seeking a Creative Mechanical Technologist to drive product development from R&D through to installation. You will design systems, run tests, analyse results, and prepare documentation for manufacturing and commissioning.
The role requires hands-on experience with PLM/FEA/CFD, CAM/CAE tools, and 2D/3D design software; strong math and communication skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Proven working experience in mechanical engineering.
- Experience with PLM, FEA and CFD.
- Hands-on CAM/CAE experience.
- Familiarity with 2D/3D design tools (AutoCAD, ProE).
- Proficiency with ANSYS, ProMechanica or similar.
- Math/engineering tools knowledge (MATLAB, Excel, LabVIEW).
- Solid understanding of mechanics, thermodynamics and materials science.
- Strong communication and technical writing abilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform full lifecycle product development from concept to implementation.
- Design systems and components meeting needs and requirements.
- Produce outline designs and test prototypes.
- Analyse data from experiments and interpret results.
- Test and evaluate theoretical designs and adjust as needed.
- Prepare reports and documentation for stakeholders.
- Communicate complex concepts clearly to cross-functional teams.
- Engage in lifelong learning and apply new methods.
