Job summary

Trinityhouse Schools is seeking a High School Educator to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality instructional programs that inspire and challenge students in a modern, tech-enabled learning environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with PGCE/HDE or B.Ed., SACE registration, and 3–5 years of teaching experience, preferably with CAPS/IEB exposure. You will engage in co-curricular activities and contribute to strong community relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) with PGCE/HDE or B.Ed. specializing in the relevant teaching subjects.
• Valid SACE registration and police clearance.
• 3-5 years of teaching experience with subject specialization.
• Familiarity with CAPS curriculum; IEB teaching and matric marking experience advantageous.
• First Aid certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instructional programs in a high school setting.
• Incorporate Trinityhouse curriculum with differentiated teaching methods; use technology and AI to personalize learning.
• Assess student progress using formative and summative methods; maintain records and provide feedback.
• Manage student behaviour in alignment with school values and support retention and growth.
• Act as a school ambassador; participate in events, extracurriculars, and community initiatives.
• Assist with administration tasks such as excursions and resources; support co-curricular activities.
