You will create and implement the innovation/renovation strategy aligned with the brand vision to drive sustainable growth.

How you will contribute

You will collaborate with other teams within Mondelēz International to determine innovation strategies and priorities that enable consumer-centric brand growth, and execute commercial innovation plans based on set goals. In partnership with brand teams, you will define and deliver plans to renovate the core brand and strengthen the entire portfolio through innovation and renovation. You will manage the portfolio, including brand architecture. You will be responsible for revenue and profit objectives related to innovation, monitoring performance against key performance indicators. Using deep consumer insights, brand strategy, and positioning, you will integrate innovation into marketing communication plans and campaigns.

Position details:

You will partner with category brand teams to determine innovation strategies and priorities based on consumer insights and brand positioning to enable consumer-centric growth. You will be responsible for executing innovation plans from idea to launch, ensuring integration into marketing campaigns. You will deliver projects that support brand and category growth, and monitor their performance against KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of brand innovation strategies and a 3-year innovation funnel
  • Lead innovation projects, including value enhancement and NPD, from ideation to execution, ensuring timely launches
  • Manage projects from idea to market, including critical path management and conflict resolution
  • Analyze data to identify business opportunities and propose portfolio improvements
  • Identify and understand key market trends
  • Manage stakeholders to ensure project buy-in, considering cost, capacity, and complexity
  • Deliver revenue, gross project, GP%, marketing investment, and instrumentality targets for innovations
  • Conduct post-launch evaluations and monitor performance against KPIs
  • Manage stakeholders and influence throughout the innovation process, including brand management, project commercialization, R&D, supply chain, procurement, and key account teams

Education / Certifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role (marketing, brand, or project management)
  • Proven experience in innovation project delivery
  • Project management skills
  • Effective stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with product and packaging innovation
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills
  • Team player with leadership qualities
