Injection Moulding Setter/Technician

At Hi-Tech Plastics, we are seeking an Injection Moulding Setter/Technician to join our busy and fast-moving team based in Blackburn. You will work in a modern, progressive, and expanding company alongside an excellent team in an environment with scope to progress further within the company.

You will be working day shifts, Monday-Thursday, 08:00-17:00 and Friday, 08:00-15:00.

As an Injection Moulding Setter/Technician your duties will include:

1. Setting and optimising injection moulding machines and all assorted auxiliary equipment.
2. Loading tools when required and conducting tool trials.
3. Tooling with single and multi-hot runner systems.
4. Conducting tool trials with customers.
5. Managing labourers and operators on the shift.

To be a successful Injection Moulding Setter/Technician you will have the following skills and experience:

1. Knowledge of most types of thermoplastics.
2. Excellent understanding of the moulding process with good troubleshooting skills.
3. Good knowledge of hot runner systems (single and multi-cavity).
4. Excellent understanding of all types of injection mould tools.

In return, the Injection Moulding Setter/Technician will receive a salary of £30,000 - £37,000 per annum depending on experience.
